UI Designer

Job Summary

We are seeking a UI Designer to join our team at Ollyo. In this role, you will be instrumental in crafting the visual and interactive elements of our software products, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience. Working closely with our product and development teams, you will apply your design skills to create innovative, user-centered designs that meet the needs of our diverse user base.

Key Responsibilities

• Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for our digital products to enhance user experience.
• Work collaboratively with product management and engineering teams to implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
• Develop wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to inform and refine UI design decisions.
• Apply and maintain design guidelines, best practices, and standards across all platforms and products.
• Keep abreast of the latest UI design trends, techniques, and technologies to ensure our products are always at the cutting edge of design.
• Visualize complex user scenarios and provide simple and effective design solutions.
• Participate in regular design reviews and be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
• Contribute to the development of a cohesive and consistent brand identity across all product interfaces.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of interface designs.
• Proficiency in visual design and wire-framing tools, such as Figma, or similar.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design and testing methodologies, subsystems, and usability and accessibility concerns.
• Ability to translate complex product requirements into simple, intuitive, and functional designs.
• Experience in conducting user research and usability testing to gather feedback and refine designs.
• Familiarity with the latest trends and technologies in UI design, with a commitment to staying informed and applying this knowledge to ongoing projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively articulating design concepts and strategies to team members and stakeholders.
• Basic understanding of front-end development languages (HTML5, CSS3) is preferred, to effectively communicate with engineering teams.
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details, ensuring a consistent and high-quality design output.
